Privacy Policy
We process your personal data for a stated purpose and a stated period, under the Personal Data Protection Law No. 24 of 2023. Your request data and statistics reach us only with your consent.

This policy covers the website arkanalmodon.com and the requests you send through it. You do not need an account or to sign up to use the site.
1. Who we are
The controller of your data: Arkan Almodon Real Estate Management (مؤسسة اركان المدن لادارة العقارات), a real-estate office licensed by the Department of Lands and Survey.

2. Data we process
- The details you type into the forms (such as your name and request) and send to us via WhatsApp. WhatsApp shows us your phone number and profile name when the message arrives. The forms do not ask for ID numbers or financial data.
- We do not store form data on this website: the message is built in your browser and sent via WhatsApp. What reaches us is kept in the WhatsApp chat at Arkan Almodon.
- WhatsApp messages and their metadata are processed by Meta (WhatsApp) under its own terms.
- Technical data (IP address, browser type, requested pages) is processed by Cloudflare, which hosts the site, to deliver and protect it.
- Maps: OpenStreetMap tile servers receive your IP address only when you open a map yourself.
- Statistics: only if you agree, we load Google Analytics (ID G-7BBCEMWEN0). Google sets cookies (_ga and _ga_*) and processes usage data: pages you visit, device and browser type, approximate location derived from the IP address and the traffic source. Without your consent nothing is loaded from Google.
- Storage in your browser (favourites, launch notice, your consent choices) stays on your device and does not reach us. Details in section 10.
3. Purposes and consent
The legal basis for each processing is your explicit consent to each purpose separately. Consent boxes on the forms are never pre-ticked, and you can withdraw any consent at any time.
- Answering your request (required): Processing your name, phone number and request details to answer your enquiry and arrange viewings, for up to 12 months. On the "Request a property" form this includes telling you about matching properties, because that is the service you ask for.
- Sharing with the owner or marketing office (optional): Sharing your name and number with the property owner or the licensed office marketing it, solely to contact you about that property.
- Similar offers (optional): Sending you similar property offers via WhatsApp or email.
- Processing outside Jordan (required for the WhatsApp channel): See section 6.
Site statistics (Google Analytics) are a separate consent you give or refuse in the privacy banner; refusing does not affect your use of the site or its forms.
We do not sell your data, we do not profile you or make automated decisions about you, and we do not use your data for marketing unless you agree to purpose 3.
4. How long we keep data
- Your requests and messages: 12 months at most, then we delete them; earlier if the purpose ends sooner.
- Google Analytics cookies: up to 2 years, or until you withdraw consent (we then delete them from your browser).
- Statistics data at Google: according to the Google Analytics retention setting, at most 14 months.
- Storage in your browser: as in the table in section 10.
5. Who receives your data
- The Arkan Almodon team handling your request.
- The property owner or the licensed office marketing it, only if you agree to purpose 2.
- Meta (WhatsApp): to deliver messages.
- Cloudflare: to host the site.
- Google: for site statistics (Google Analytics), only after your consent.
- OpenStreetMap: only when you open a map.
- Our email provider, if you email us.
- Authorities, only when required by law or a court order.
6. Transfers outside Jordan
Cloudflare, Meta (WhatsApp), Google and OpenStreetMap process data outside Jordan (including the United States and Europe). Their level of protection may not equal what Jordanian law requires. Technical data of every visit (such as IP address and requested page) passes through Cloudflare, which hosts the site, to deliver and protect it. Your request data goes to Meta (WhatsApp) only with consent 4, statistics go to Google only with your consent in the privacy banner, and OpenStreetMap receives your IP only when you open a map.
7. Security
We collect as little data as possible. The whole site runs over an encrypted connection (HTTPS) and has no accounts or passwords. Only the Arkan Almodon team handling your request sees it.
The site is not aimed at people under 18, and we do not knowingly process data of minors.
8. Your rights
Under the Personal Data Protection Law you have the right to:
- access your data and receive a copy.
- have your data corrected or updated.
- restrict processing.
- have your data erased.
- object to processing.
- data portability.
- withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting what was done before.
- be told if your data is breached.
To use any of these rights, message us on WhatsApp or call us on +962 79 133 1880. We may ask you to confirm your identity first. We reply within 30 days at the latest.

9. Data breaches
If your data is affected by a serious breach that may harm you, we tell you within 24 hours and the personal data protection unit within 72 hours, including what happened and what we did.
10. Cookies and storage
The site itself sets no cookies. The _ga cookies are set by Google Analytics only after your consent. The storage keys below stay in your browser and are not sent to us.

You can change your statistics choice at any time under "Privacy settings" (at the bottom of every page). When you withdraw, we stop Google Analytics and delete the _ga cookies. You can also clear all storage in your browser settings.
11. Complaints
If you object to how we handle your data, contact us first and we will work to resolve it. If your complaint is not resolved, you can complain to the personal data protection unit at the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship. Reports & complaints
12. Changes
We may update this policy. Every change is published here with its version number and date, and if a processing purpose changes we ask for your consent again. If the two versions differ, the Arabic version prevails.
